bedtime with brooke.

This summer, I had the honor of working very closely with Atlanta-based entrepreneur and wonder-woman herself, Brooke Patterson. I was hired as the event planning intern for Brooke Shareé Lingerie, her luxury undergarments boutique, for the woman who cherishes the finer things in life. Brooke’s vision for the brand’s second annual event: “a luxe slumber party in the clouds”. To that end, I do think we succeeded.

Hosted on the 50th floor penthouse at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta, 150 guests enjoyed specialty cocktails and light bites, shopped for BSL intimates at the pop-up shop, curated their own personalized blend of body oils courtesy of the Four Seasons Hotel Spa, and got to glimpse Brooke’s debut house designs for BSL waltz down the runway.

BSL is crafted for the every day woman deserving of luxury, so Brooke and I took care to speak to her when selecting décor and designing the layout for the pop-up shop. Marble and rose gold accents showcased merchandise on the contrasting sultry dark shelving, with sweet notes from Brooke throughout the space to encapsulate the warmth of the intimate, personalized shopping experience the BSL brand is known for.

Passed hors d’oeuvres and charcuterie from Bar Margot were choice for the 3 hour tenure of the slumber party, since guest attire reflected the theme. Spills on silk were not a problem this way!

Exceptional bites from Bar Margot.

The event’s featured intimates from the BSL private label read as an integral part of every woman’s wardrobe. Lace, silk and scalloped hems abound as clear demarcations of the brand, with chiffon breaking through as this season’s fresh outlook for day and night wear.

All runway looks were available for purchase at the on-site pop-up shop!

Floor design on the 50th allowed us to split the space precisely in half. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed to the lounge area, where they could have Jezebel Magazine’s photographers snap a shot of them before the BSL step and repeat, grab a glass of wine at the bar, craft their own custom body oil blend with an esthetician from the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta Spa, browse the pop-up shop and chat with other guests. Post-cocktail hour, guests were then seated at the runway on the other half of the venue.

Both Atlanta’s elite and BSL’s cherished clientele were seated at the front of the sultry, candle-lit runway. feathered ornaments hanging from the ceiling and a fitting playlist by the DJ, Krishna Ko, came together to create an atmosphere true to Brooke’s vision.

Guests retired from the event with plenty of goodies from the event’s sponsors including the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta Spa, Jezebel Magazine and Susan G. Komen for the Cure (a portion of the proceeds from the sale of BSL’s pink colored garments was donated to the non-profit).

Purchases made at the pop-up shop were hand-wrapped for guests in BSL’s signature blue, a testament to the care and love put into the brand’s commitment to the comfort and satisfaction of their clients.

While there were hiccups along the way to executing the event, Bedtime with Brooke Shareé was a roaring success. The experience was shared across various social and media outlets as guests descended from the clouds of the Four Seasons with newly acquired intimates in hand at the end of the night. It was a joy watching our summer’s worth of work come together, and to see Brooke shine like the light she truly is.
